Sweet Baby Bernard - Newborn Home study session

During the time I have been photographing baby's & newborn sessions it has been clear to me that coming to a clients home where all are comfortable works very well. It seems Mother and baby are more relaxed and have a better experience with the whole thing in general, or so new Mommy's keep telling me :)
As a new Mom, there is enough to worry about, adding the stress of getting those precious "new baby" images should not be one of them (including packing up baby and every item that may be needed for a photo session in a strange place, the car ride, the feeding, getting baby ready for pictures... you get the idea) I have been there, I know!

Here are the precious images we captured during baby Bernard's home session ( love the one of Mommy, baby and dog... so Cute! ) He was a dream to photograph and Stacey was very excited to see how it all turned out -

Avery in Storyland...

Such a perfect setting for a little princess! Sweet Avery is getting so big, this is her third sitting for the "Baby Club" package and now that she is walking we got some great action shots. It really was a beautiful day in City Park at Storyland and then we wanted to go explore by the water a bit. She was having a great time discovering and just being a toddler! Thank you to Katie and David for helping get those big smiles :) Can't wait to see one of these prints on your wall!

Commercial Shoot for Orient Expressed Childrens Clothing Store

I have been waiting patiently and am so excited to finally get the chance to share these images from my recent Commercial shoot with the clothing store Orient Expressed. They offer the best in hand-smocked and classic children's clothing & the outfits are just to die for, I LOVE them! The store location is an adorable shop uptown on Magazine St. here in New Orleans and these images are featured in the Spring / Summer 2012 catalog issue, click here to be directed to the web page and get your catalog. We had a blast with all the babies and toddlers, they kept us on our toes for sure and the weather could not have been more beautiful for all these location portraits. We really did get some great shots... Thank you to Mary and Stephanie for keeping this day on track and rolling smoothly! I can't wait till the next shoot :)

Avery Christmas Portraits

We had such a great time with Avery for her Christmas Baby Portraits at Mrs. Michelle's house in Lakeview! The front porch location was so cute with the brick, white rockers and her white dress. Luckily I did catch her standing up for a few minutes to get some candid shots, then we used the back porch and dark furniture to contrast her outfit. The white crochet hat was adorable also with the white couch and sitting on Mom's lap... Enjoy!

Dylan Finan 4 month Session

Baby Dylan is such a joy to photograph! During his newborn session -which seems like just yesterday- we got some amazing shots one of which was sent out as the birth announcement and also I believe hangs now in his room as a canvas print, it looks so great as a BIG image!!! I can see one of these right next to it on the wall... My poster baby is getting so big, and he's got those chunky baby cheeks I just want to squeeze him... I can't wait till he is sitting up and crawling so we can get some great "action shots" but these candid and laying in the basket shots are fun too! Loving the big baby blues...
