Blue skies, friends, family, LOVE (and a great second line)... That is my recipe for the perfect wedding day. Yes it was August, and a BIT hot but these love birds were not letting it phase them. Paige and Alex decided to have their ceremony at Jackson Square Cathedral in New Orleans and celebrate tying the knot just across the way at JAX brewery on Pat O's balcony overlooking the river! It was such a beautiful day and these two are just about the most kind and fun couple I know. It was truly an honor to be your Wedding Photographer and brought back a few memories from another New Orleans wedding experience together for the Baynham's not too long ago! Cheers my friends! Cant wait for the next....

Nicole and Matthew - Married!
There are few "Perfect" seasons to experience in New Orleans, too hot, too rainy, too humid... then comes the month of October. I have put October in it's own season because the amount of activity and number of Weddings that happen during this month could fill an entire season of a few months. Nicole and Matt were one of the lucky couples to experience the beauty, gorgeous weather and surroundings of City Park for their ceremony during this time to say their vows with family and friends. The reception venue is one of the most picturesque and romantic in New Orleans Mid-City neighborhood, the Benachi House. Nicole and Matt are just as sweet as couples come, a love for travel and history, complimenting personalities and the cutest (very dramatic) height difference! I love when a groom has to really lean in for the kiss :)

Alli & Billy Engaged
Laurel Valley Plantation & Dansereau House - Thibodaux LA
I am so excited to share these sweet images of Alli and Billy. One of my favorite things about photographing Engagement sessions is getting to know my couples and more about the story of how they met and got engaged and this story did not disappoint! Alli & Billy met at their local hospital where they both work, she is a nurse and he is a Doctor - so cute :) Also they like to hunt and fish which is part of the story in how he proposed.... At Christmas the last present he gave to her was a pair of gloves for hunting and as she put her hand in the glove - she felt something in the glove and pulled her hand out with the ring perfectly sitting on her finger! OK that is a sweet story if I ever heard one. Way to go Billy!
We met up at Laurel Valley Plantation on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon and got to spend some time hanging out with all the animals, climb on an old tractor and throw some hay around - it was pretty fun! Then we headed for the Dansereau House for some more formal photos. All in all it was a great afternoon and I hope everyone enjoys these images. Can't wait for June!
